Stink Bug

I've forgotten exactly what the docent told us about this bug, sorry to say. But we had an action-packed hour in the state park, looking at very small creatures, trying to make images and trying to remember some details about each new face. Our guide was so knowledgeable and full of captivating facts. Cameras really should have mini recorders so one could just preserve information easily. Of course I didn't have a pen and paper, nor could I have put down the pack and tripod to scratch away. Plus my hat kept falling over my eyes. And it was cold. I do have to work out a better system for lugging stuff around; most of my work is done at home in the garden so I don't run into these situations very often.

But isn't he handsome?
