Hat Trick

Non stop today - it's now 9:30 pm and I'm off to put my feet up with a glass of Pinot.
Up early and walked across the fields to the Village Hall where the monthly breakfast was being held. After 5  "Flinglish's" we waddled back home and then went shopping. Returned home and changed and C and I went out to a restaurant for a celebration lunch (in Somerset, but not far away) for a friend's birthday party who has reached a significant age ending with a zero. I left before the others, dashed home and collected our son and grandsons, then off to the railway station in time for him to catch a train to London for a catch-up with his uni friends. Back home with the grandsons,  we then walked to the birthday boy's house to continue with the celebrations and eat birthday cake. That is where this shot was taken of Beck. Birthday Boy showed them one of his garden sheds where there are all sorts of playthings - including this old hat. Of course they were in their element then. 
Back home for dinner (not for us as we were totally stuffed by then) a bath, a story, and bed. Fingers crossed they will sleep well as Daddy won't be back until Monday morning.
