Next Steps

Today I have been at the allotment again, this time laying out weed suppressing matting over the areas I will eventually either dig or create raised beds.  I've also been removing the ugly metal poles and corrugated iron from the front of the allotment (see Extras).  I dug over one area at the front which I think has been used for composting.  I'll probably continue to use it this way.  It was fantastic to be outside in the sun and doing some physical work.  I trudged home for lunch and to watch the mens semi-final at Wimbledon before going back to the allotment.  I really enjoyed the match - we'd watched the first half last night.  I hope you have all had an enjoyable Saturday.
