Calm Before The Storm

Bit of a mixed day. We went to see the father-in-law as it was his 89th birthday. He liked the photo book which I spent ages compiling for him, then we had a nice lunch and took him to the cemetery where his wife's ashes were scattered four years ago.

Then, big mistake, we set up the new phones which I had carefully chosen to make his and our lives easier as he has so much trouble using the previous ones. However as they are slightly different he claimed they didn't work properly. It all finished with him accusing us of all sorts of hidden agendas and saying it had been the worst day of his life!!

Update - seems to be OK now that he has realised they only ring when someone actually phones him, and he can both answer them and make outgoing calls on them.
