Pathetic

When I told her tomato season was over and we were going to have to throw the plants away, Tess insisted on harvesting the tomatoes in the greenhouse today. And this is the measly result.
It's been a total waste of time growing tomatoes this year.

Richard drove Gemma and a friend to UCA Farnham's open day today and Gemma came home really positive and enthusiastic.

I stayed home with Tess and the dog and caught up with the washing. Tess completed a maths sheet for homework and amused me with her little observations about life.
She described evolution to me but swore she'd never been taught about it.
When I said, "But that's evolution, did you learn that at school?"
She shook her head and said, "I've heard of revolution."
