From the Ammer

Took ourselves out to the Serenade in the Au this evening, a concert in the woods with the paths, meadow and stage (with local brass-band) all illuminated with candles. Lots of folk there but lots of bugs too so we didn't sit around but instead went for a wander along the Ammer and enjoyed the sunset with the band playing in the background. (Strange that there are now a lot more insects around town than further out in the countryside. Keeps the swifts happy though!)
It was such a nice, warm night that we stopped off at Dachsbrau on the way home and then decamped to our terrace for a final, small aperitif. Fab.
