It’s still love in the first degree

What a week. It’s been so busy at work; 10 hour day every day; for five days!

I was glad to call it a day tonight At 1745; nip into the allotment pick a bunch of sweet peas and head home to visit Nant on her birthday

Birthday chorus sung, cake deposited in fridge, and flowers in vases we headed home for a fish finger sandwich at the 1930 and then up to the allotment for the potatoes watering.

Another allotment holder very kindly gifted me some red gooseberries after I had complemented them. I have never seen them before . Gooseberry fool anyone?

In other news.... airforce one landed about 500 metres from my office; it’s a tad inconvenient. It means there are loads of police officers all over the bloody place - and folk with long lens cameras
