Will these Apples survive without the insects getting them this year? It's just a miniature tree given to me by my oldest dear friend ( who sadly has Alziemer's now ) it must be 30 or so years ago. We have had good fruit in the past but last year was particularly bad , even tho' we had put insect bands around the trunk etc they still had a good feed. So this year we will wait and see what happens.
I'm really pleased with cooler weather today , but the needed rain seems still to be eluding this part of the U.K.

Grateful ..... that "A" will be here in 30 minutes, so I must away and get lunch ready.
