OUT

It was sad to watch the game slowly fall away from us. We looked so strong at the beginning and now we are out of the World Cup, after a really good innings.

I was a little sad too that all my family were out this evening. But my big sister and her husband were round and I watched it with them.

And that strange picture I’ve blipped? My little sister got married 16 years ago. She asked me back then, to take the top tier of her wedding cake and store it in my freezer. So I wrapped it in foil as advised by a caterer, plonked it in a huge cake container and kept it. I’ve asked her again and again and again if she would take it back. Finally, I’ve been given permission and it is out and will be eaten tomorrow.
