Salisbury Cathedral, Stained Glass Panel
We left the New Forest during the morning and before heading home called in at Salisbury to spend a few hours with my nephews lovely wife and two small boys.
We walked down to the Cathedral for lunch in the excellent cafe and then and then into the Nave to view an exhibition by artist Greg Tricker entitled,'Pillars of Faith'. This is a mixture of sculptures, paintings and stained glass focusing on the life of Joan of Arc.
This is one of the stained glass panels showing Joan in the garden of her house in Domremy hearing the angelic revelation of her mission.
After a very pleasant day we parted company and I headed to Lymington to catch the car ferry home.
