Thank you for all your kind comments. Today’s race was a middle distance race conveniently ending alongside a swimming lake. So I could recover with a gentle swim.

From there we travelled to Saint-Louis Arzviller to see an engineering feat used to transport boats up and down a steep slope. Fascinating to watch.

The extra is a Belgium competitor supporting his team tonight. On one side it read Go Belgium and on the other Goaaaaal. It made me smile.
