‘Stay close Mum, there’s a monster’...

... This baby coot was sticking like glue to Mum, and wailed fit to burst if she dived out of sight for a few moments. It almost smothered her each time she popped back up.

We were in Bakewell.

Last night we watched a lovely one-woman show lauding the joys of OS maps. (I shan’t say which one of us it appealed to the most). It was very good indeed (map fan or not) and she’s taking it to Edinburgh, so if you’re off there I can recommend it.

And the jam situation here?
It’s healthy (if that’s possible?).
Jam everywhere!
I can now fully endorse the red currant and orange flavour (and I suspect we shall have more use out of jam than red currant jelly).
