Scabious

We got to the showfield early. We like to get there before the neighbouring exhibitors arrive so that we can easily park the trailer and Land Rover at the back of our stand.

We got set up nice and smoothly, considering it was the first marquee event of the year. Additions to our stand were our canvasses which we had printed last autumn and a reprint which arrived yesterday..

Another addition was a "For Sale" sign! We are hoping to sell our 8 metre marquee to downsize to a caravan and awning for next season.

In the evening I had a wander into the adjacent churchyard of St James' Church. They have set aside an area for wild flowers. The red campions I had blipped a few weeks ago were over but the scabious were in bloom.
