Tranquility
As I drove home I thought this field would make a tranquil, pastoral scene to blip.
A few days ago I was delivered a new laptop to replace the one with the broken hinge. My supplier transferred the files, but it was up to me to restore my Creative Cloud account. I tried last night. They wanted to send me a text message with a code. NO! I don't have mobile coverage so today I went to the studio to frame an image and sort this out.
I ended up having to be on the phone to Adobe for 1 1/2 hours, giving them control of my screen and they couldn't install their product. I was disappointed that they didn't ring me back tonight to try again as they had promised.
I am 10 days behind in blipping so, in the early hours of today I made sure I had all my images off the CF card onto the tower. I paused , looking at how full the card was with my puffin pics and all the others. I almost formatted the card. Thank goodness I didn't!
I came home tired tonight only to find that I had lost one of the drives on my tower. This comes two days after I bought a new back up drive but hadn't had the time to save to it!
Then I opened my emails. My techy guy can't fix my old external hard drive to retrieve all those files either. He has been working on it for a couple of days.
Ah, well. At least I've still got my recent shots and I'm going somewhere nice tomorrow to forget about all this!
