...A venue for Buxton Festival this year.
It's as magnificent inside as out.

We listened to a lecture by Sir David Cannandine which was fab in every way (informative, witty, funny etc).
I wish I could tell you more about the years between 1800 and 1906 (his chosen subject) but his (quite brilliant) mind and approach left me scatter-gunned with information and 'rabbit in headlights', in the brain dept. I'm trusting that (a bit like an explosion of tomato ketchup from a reluctant bottle) some of it will be found later. (If I look).
