Random emergency blip

For the first time since my early retirement 10 months ago, I've had to set my alarm clock to some ungodly hour when the skies are still dark. Did not like that. Too reminiscent of 32 years spent commuting into work...

But, ultimately, it was worth it. I attended a day-long seminar by Seth Resnick, which I thoroughly enjoyed. He's a great story teller -- both through his images and on stage. Hopefully, I'll have picked up a trick or two. You'll tell me.

Finished the day at the symphony, listening and watching Lang Lang, the worlds best pianist. A well deserved label! His performance, both in terms of theatrics and music, was absolutely divine. I'm always in awe when I see someone achieve excellence at their craft :)
