Pretty as a picture
Yesterday, at the crochet/knit group I run, a number of members brought in a sheep they had made in support of The Lost Sheep project. The lady who set up the project had a double lung transplant a number of years ago and she is trying to increase awareness of the organ donation register.
The sheep were then 'lost' across Manchester, or further afield. They have a tag around their necks to provide a link back to The Lost Sheep project and to the organ donation register, should the finder decide to sign up. It's the second time we've run this project and have now released over 50 sheep into the wild, with at least 5 people signing up to the register as a direct result of finding a sheep.
I left two sheep at last night's sleepout in support of the food bank, but I must have hidden one too well as it didn't get found! Once I'd got over spending the night outside in a sleeping bag, I spotted this frame nearby and thought it would be a lovely for him to be part of the picture.
The sheep is now patiently waiting for someone to take him home!
Also, a reminder to myself that I shouldn't view a much smaller group of 26 as an unsuccessful meetup!
