black and white....

for a change!  

Went looking for varnish to paint my bird bath today - its made of metal.  All the shops had varnish for wood....so will have to go to the industrial area of town next week and see if I can find it there! 

My visitor who came from Ireland a few weeks ago brought me an excess of McVities digestive biscuits (if you are from the UK you will understand)!  Apparently some of my friends thought I was craving for them!  When I first came to Africa in 1995, I did miss digestive biscuits...but over the years my tastebuds have changed!!!

Anyway today I made some 15's with them (again its a UK thing)...and I will probably eat them all before the weekend is over!!  Its still cold here so comfort eating is the answer!!!
