Sunshine and cycling and then more sunshine.
To Craigleith to get some photos printed and procure insect repellant to try and keep the infestation of horse flies at bay later in the weekend.
Then to collect pots and pans and just time to disappear home before heading into town for what had originally been a birthday lunch but with the sunshine forecast to be wall to wall, a bbq was hastily convened.
Tasty lamb strips of pepper and courgette; some leaves and much lounging; all soundtracked by AudioSoup with an interesting mix of soulful funk, jazzy hip hop before harder edged ragga and jungle and more break beaty stuff crept in. Good tunes; perfect summer soundtrack for a long time.
We headed in about 8; light supper and Love Island before heading home into the most lovely light over the Forth. I dillied and dallied along the final mile to take it all in.
