thank the lord it's Friday!

another blinking rubbish nights sleep. went to bed early enough, but still woke up at 4.30am! mustve dozed back about 5.45am. alarm went off at 6.30am and managed to snooze it til 7.30am.

good breakfast again. love the poached egg and asparagus thing - healthy and low cal too! into work, special mufty Friday (cos Rach is going away for a long time!!). Rach had a coffee ready for me when i got into work - will miss that for the next 3 weeks!

busy busy day, deadlines and deadlines...

still made time for lunch to meet with Mr P and the girls. Nice glass of prossecco to celebrate Jane FH 40th.

afternoon seemed long, which was good as i had plenty to cram in. 5pm comes around and out of the office by 5.30pm. had parked in Mount Street, and on my way out of the city, i caught a glimpse of the St Barnabas Cathedral lit up. i turned down College Street, and parked up (rip off parking fees!). went into the grounds of St Barnabas and took some shots as the rain started.

drove home, and wondered why people who clearly can't drive in the dark, actually drive in the dark! as i sped down the road towards Greasley Church, in the pitch dark and rain, i recall how just a few weeks ago i drove down that same road with roof down enjoying the summer! (well must've been one day!) how quick time flies!

off home then to mums for tea and a catch up. back to mine, curtains drawn, pj's on, candles lit, vino out......love Friday nights!
