life's a blur!

could the day start more perfectly?! well, yeah, actually, i could've done with another 2 hours sleep instead of waking at 4.30am. instead i was wide awake. decided to grasp the day by it's throat, and get out early doors to take the blip i've been wanting to capture for ages.

Iphone app told me what time sunrise was, so i headed off to the M1 bridge at 6.45am. tripod set up, all in position, then had a play with settings until i got a shot i was pleased with. the sunrise when it came was glorious, orange, and then crimson, and then shortly afterwards cloud. it didn't last long.

back home by half seven, and a well earned cuppa. top morning continued as cooked up a breakfast of poached eggs, roasted asparagus with a tomato and chorizo sauce. the day just got even better!!

set about work. worked at home til lunch and then off to Birmingham. blimey the train was chocca!! good meeting in Birmingham, and then back on the train. life is a blur!

home by 7.15pm, and beautiful spag bol for tea. really pleased with myself today. thought back to this morning, when i was getting ready to go and stand on the M1 bridge in the dark, and for a minute i was slightly worried, you don't know who's out and about at that time. put on my timberlands, and a random white feather lay on the left boot....must have come in through my bedroom window and landed on the boots on the floor..... knew then i'd be fine and dad would be with me! love white feathers!
