Ready, steady, cook....slowly

It was going to be a long afternoon and more forward planning was needed, so - it's a slow cooker meal tonight I thought. A visit to the local farm produce shop to buy vegetables and home to prepare them, then add them to the meat and stock in the pot ready for slow cooking, - just as it says in the name!

And when we got home, the smell of a ready dinner greeted us. Just like yesterday's roast.

Oh- and we also bought 50 wallflower plants along with the vegetables!
