July 4th

Seems everyone in the area followed a strong tradition of the beach for July 4th.  I was only there for a flyover by military aircraft.  Some of my family were there for several hours.  The extra photo reminds me of how people preserve their vacation memories.  In the photo, I am not sure I would want to preserve a memory of being in the mass of people.  Secondly, a teenage girl was bitten on the lower leg by a shark earlier this week while in water that wasn't over her head.  I like to look at individuals in a large group shot like this one.
