Family Time

I took this photo after a great meal of Eastern NC Bar-B-Que at Joe's
Bar-B-Que In Whiteville, NC.  We have been eating there for over 40 years.  The photo includes from left to right, My stepdaughter, my stepson, my other stepdaughter, our daughter-in-law, my wife, our grandson (age 12), and our son.  When my stepson decided he could come today for the 4th of July and leave on July 5th for a work assignment in Atlanta, his sisters decided they could come also.  Our son and his family live near the restaurant and will come tomorrow for the 4th.  Great food and fellowship.  It seems strange at this age in our lives to see the three adult children without their children (9 among them), but it is also nice to see them independently.  Our grandson loved seeing 2 aunts and an uncle at the same time.
