Not as you know it Jim

A foxglove but only suitable for very small foxes!  Digtalis parviflora, species from Mediterranean regions is less imposing than our native Digitalis purpurea but has an elegant charm nonetheless.  It's happy here in a sunny raised bed but is at best a short-lived .perennial.

Out to the allotment this afternoon while Jacinta visited a friend narby.  It was to be for ten minutes ... but after half an hour I was pretty much cooked!   Watering, weeding and preparing ground for leeks - this heatwave far from ideal as a planting out time :-/  A visit to the hospital tonight, a tour of the radiotherapy facility and then a short family visit to see Jamie's Grandma whose ward was close by.   A busy one again.
