First Love

Before alpines I grew annuals.  As a small boy I enjoyed growing things that grew fast and flowered exuberantly.  Sweet peas, with their wide range of colours have the added bonus of a wonderful scent. The best sweet peas are perhaps those sown in autumn but this year I sowed late, in spring.  The plants may be smaller, the flowers fewer but I still love them.

Collected the new (used) car, shopped in the city, choir tonight was good.  Jamie in good form today - more of the same please.
