Ben Venue

MrR, the Fang and I took ourselves up Ben Venue today. It’s a Graham, so just a small mountain at 729m, indeed it’s name translates as “miniature mountain”, but still a significant hike for a wee fella in sweltering heat.

He did brilliantly...with only a few moans which a quick pit stop now and then sorted out.

All in we were out on the walk for 5 hours 15...with Strava telling me we were moving for 4 ours 17.

Home for pizza in the garden...up far too late again on these lovely summer nights...you don’t want to go indoors.

Grateful for a lovely hike and some grand views from the top:-)
