Hard Row

Another lovely day - my 10 year old cars has finely given up the ghost so a trip to order a shiny new one was in order today.   I'm not a person who is especially excited by cars so I went for a dependable Skoda - similar to the one I had to sell when we moved to America in 2014.

Finalizing what I hope might might be the last ever piece of work for my former employer and then went for regatta training in glorious evening sunshine in North Berwick - hard physical work and not much chance to enjoy the scenery, seals or birdlife.

I did get back in time to watch the extra time in the England Columbia match which was uneventful.   Mrs M hates football but loves a penalty shootout - she would have been disappointed if the game had been settled in regulation.

Another 'decay' shoot from the neighbouring farm.  The hose pipepipe will be out soon - we haven't had much rain in weeks.
