Big and bold

It was our full day in Liverpool today. We were staying at the Holiday Inn, which was basically a five minute walk from the museum we needed to be at for the Terracotta Army exhibit. This meant a lazy day of sorts! We headed to the Walker gallery which I found a bit 'meh' (mainly because I really do prefer modern art) and then sis decided she want to go to the Liverpool Central Library. Well what a wonderful experience that was! Amazing modern extension to an amazing neo classical original building. (see Dumbledorian for the inside views). It also had the Picton reading room which was straight out of Harry Potter. It was very nearly my blip but this bold and beautiful chap wanted to escort us back to the hotel to pick up the car, so I just had to take his photo and blip him.
