364 days to go!

Today is, for me, quite a milestone so I hope you will allow me a little self indulgence. A few years ago I was diagnosed with leukaemia which was only discovered when I had a routine mammogram. Quite understandably, it was a huge shock, mentally it took a lot of time to come to terms with and some of the treatment was not at all pleasant. This morning I visited my fantastic specialist who has signed me off for ONE WHOLE year and I am truly thankful!
So, today seems an appropriate time to thank all the wonderful family, dear friends and medical professionals for the extraordinary help and support I have received, I couldn't have done it without you.

PS I know breast cancer awareness month is over but mammagrams can detect other conditions and I am also thankful for that.
