CRIMINALS?

I participated in the solidarity gathering with Families Belong Together which protested the incarceration of children ....woman and men who were often separated at the border when they sought asylum. I joined the huge protest at the Sea Tac detention center in Seattle.  I met and talked with many people who all were united in the goal of getting these families reunited...and saying NO loudly to this hateful act by our president which is history repeating itself....and we are saying NO !!!  We will NOT tolerate our country doing this one more time!  We did this to  the Native Americans ...we took their children away and put them in reservation schools (not to mention the genocide!), we separated families when we enslaved Blacks, we had the Chinese Exclusion Act, the Internment camps....enough is enough and We should have learned our lesson.....We say NO now...not weak apologies sixty years later or more down the road...NO NOW!  Families belong together.
    It was incredibly spiritually uplifting to see so many good people gathering from all walks of life, all ages and all genders peaceably joined in solidarity fo support this just and humane cause.
