Visit from good friends:)

The past three days we've enjoyed a visit from Randy's childhood best friend Doug and his partner Walt....Doug was our best man at our wedding in 1971......The last time they were at our place I think was 1991 and our son was about 8 then.  We shared lots of stories and chuckles and there was a lot of remeniscing by Doug and Big R about their shared school days and childhood times reminiscing.   Doug is the one with hair:)  ( or more of it)  I also included one of Walt on his ipad, one with Doug in the kitchen and Cowboy waiting patiently and ever hopeful for a dropped piece of food, and one of Doug and Walt at the breakfast table with Walt patting patience Sadie.  A good time was had...they went all over Seattle ...mostly on foot looking at all kinds of archetecture as both are/were archetects.   
       They live in the Bay are ...we visited a few years ago and they have a lovely home that has a spectaculat view of the Bay bridge.  Doug has build on the terraced back yard a magnificent shade garden and had many pictures to share of it.  I had to remain home while they all galivanted due to my broken foot....but I pulled together a couple good seafood dinners that they seemed to enjoy.  R made a nice sour cream apple pie too and some chocolate cookies for them to take on the road.
