Friday: Banff Railway
We were due to leave Banff today but, before doing so, we headed to the hot springs. It was a chilly morning and the water was a very ambient 39 degrees. We rented the historic swimsuits, complete with modesty panel, and looked very much the part. We were all quite taken with them but, for obvious reasons, I shan't be blipping us in our swimwear.
We stopped off at the railway station before we left town, as it was described as historic. And who doesn't love a historic railway station, as well as the romance of the CPR?
We drove to Revelstoke today, stopping off at the giant cedars' boardwalk and the romantically named skunk cabbage boardwalk (much prettier than the name suggests). Revelstoke is much nicer than I remember from a few years ago!
