The loooong drive home!
I was at church again this morning for Ladies Fellowship, then I joined the last half hour of Knitting Ministry. The latter should have met last Tuesday but got rescheduled due to snow and ice. As I drove home it was beginning to snow, but very lightly so it wasnt coming to much. By the time I left for my afternoon class at Raymond Walters it was beginning to come a little faster and beginning to settle, but it's only a 90 minute class and its not far to go so I still went - bad decision! By the time I came out there was a good inch on the ground and it was coming thicker. To cut a very long story short it took me about 2 1/2 hours to do what would normally take me 15-20 minutes! At times it was almost like a blizzard and I was wondering if I would ever make it home! I was stationary when I took this I hasten to add - as I was for most of the time! Roger had been lucky - he had been away from his office at another site until about 3.30 and rather than return to the office, he decided to come home and do some work from home, so he beat the worst of it. Naturally Jubilant Singers rehearsal got cancelled - the second week in succession - our director will not be very happy!
Back-blipped yesterday - a much brighter shot!
