At the eve of the day....

These beautiful reflections disappeared almost as soon as I captured them. I'm so glad I happened to see them! 

My other choice of picture today is very different (my extra now!) and shows some of the "thousands" of dahlias mentioned yesterday.....I really admire D's diligence in caring for them up to and after planting. If all bloom, we'll be a blast of colour soon and in all shapes and sizes; dinner plates, pompoms..etc.

Our road came to a standstill this afternoon. It was FULL of cars belonging to parents attending the summer fare of the school opposite. Fascinating to watch but awful if you were caught up in it! I'm sure they did well on yet another beautiful day!
