Wood on Wednesday

My buddy Jack and I did get our 3 mile walk in this morning, but after that...the rain started. And, it continued most of the day.

I retreated to my downstairs workshop, and made this Michigan State piece. It was not much fun to make, because for every cut-out piece, I had to dis-connect the scroll saw blade...slip it through a pre-drilled hole...then re-connect the blade for sawing. 13 cut-outs...13 dis-connects.

I had to really crop this because I didn't finish the border, and the plaid shirt and the towel behind it were still showing on the borders of the piece.
