2018 Monday — Shroud of Clouds

We had just returned from the Los Osos/Baywood Park Farmers Market and looking back that direction from our house, we could see the beauty of the clouds that is impossible to see when we are engulfed in them.

Because Baywood Park/Los Osos is on the most southern section of this geographical region that is named Estero Bay, it gets the most fog. This is similar to what we have noticed north of us in Monterey Bay; the city of Santa Cruz is usually clear and sunny, while the city of Monterey and neighboring communities are socked in with fog.

This is our first summer Monday here and the “June gloom” is present, but we are enjoying the gray sky and cool temperatures; we know that we would be most uncomfortable in the current SoCal heat.

We walked the pups at Hardy Park late this afternoon and then enjoyed some moments in the Cayucos Library, which is just across Birch Street from the Park.
