Rivington

My photography group continues to meet throughout the year, and we always try and have an evening outing or two around the longest hours of daylight.

Our visit to Rivington terraced gardens wasn't quite as we planned as there was a large moorland fire near the car park where we'd planned to meet.  Still we relocated slightly, and had a good walk up to the gardens (even if a couple of us completely lost the rest of the group - we'll no doubt discover where they went when we show the images in a few weeks time!)

I really liked the colour through the trees, captured with some ICM in the extra, but thought the smoke through the trees and the sunset was more representative of the evening.
