Distractions

Had some very bad news about my friend E tonight. Not completely unexpected but much more suddenly and more serious than we thought.

I'm sitting knitting a tunic for a doll on 4 needles, like socks and had a completely bizarre need compulsion to look up the words to Skinny Malinky long legs.

According to mumsnet (in case you were wondering) "big banana feet" seems to be a West of Scotland and NI thing. While "umbrella feet" seems to be Edinburgh and Lothians.
