Chateau de Bourdeau

Now a luxurious hotel but closed on mondays, when we passed by. I thought that a coffee on the terrace overlooking the lake would be rather nice.

Roons from 180 to 560 a night, not including breakfast.

Had a beautiful lakeside walk to beyond the village of Bourdeau but could not find the footpath up to the Col De Chat. As the heat was extremely tiring, it was probably a good thing we did not attempt the 1500+ metres ascent.
Tomorrow we plan to drive to the top!

My extra is the view of the mountain bathed in pink taken now from our balcony where we are enjoying a glass of locally produced wine.
