Hotel Boredom

Now I am a fan of Premier Inns. But The wall Art used to be of 4 or 5 abstract trees in a row with perfect pompom foliage with their reflections in a different colour, except for the 2nd or 3rd one in the row which - for no apparent reason except for "Art" was the wrong way up. This had always puzzled me.

This "corporate art was in every room in every Premier Inn. Or so I thought. Either this Premier Inn is some kind of renegade, break away maverick or all the artwork in all the rooms in all the Premier Inns has been replaced.

I worry about things like this and can't wait to try another Premier Inn to see.

For fans of Steve Coogan's alter ego (Alan Partridge) I'm afraid the room did not have a Corgi Trouser Press, so I was unable to dismantle one and try to put it together again.

So boredom returned me again and again to the wall art. Perhaps there is some kind of British North/South divide. I don't recall being in a Premier Inn as far south as Crawley before. So Maybe there is a line just south of Birmingham. North of it has the familiar trees (one inverted) and south of it it's 2 rudbeckia style prints hung as one piece of art.

It's driving me nuts. Can someone please tell me!
