Bored Already

Marathon trip to Crawley for a day course on how to screw 2 pieces of metal together and make it look good. (AKA advanced restoration on dental implants).
The route to Crawley, involving public transport, was a bit convoluted and involved 3 trains 2 busses and a plane. Amazingly it almost went smoothly (apart from a bird-strike and incorrect maintenance paperwork for the plane's engine check up and the non-appearance of one of the busses).

This shot was of platform 1 at Carlisle station. The sign was for the next train after the delayed one I was due to get. (Signalling problems in the Manchester area!!) the correct sign was not displayed for the train which had been delayed - but there was a wee guy in uniform pacing up and down the platform informing passengers to ignore the sign.

And this was just the start of what proved to be a very long journey!
