Granada

Final day of our Spanish tour with a visit to the Alhambra.
We had to set off early as our guided tour was set for 10am, which was good as it was going to be a very hot day again. Our guide was excellent, but I have to say we were both a bit disappointed by it all. Very spectacular, and everyone else seemed blown away by it all, but whether it was the heat or the crowds we found it all a bit overdone.

Afterwards we had a short stop in Granada itself for lunch. We were all pretty exhausted so nobody was bothered about everywhere except restaurants being closed as it was Sunday. As usual on this trip ordering our food was a bit of a shot in the dark. Somehow I ended up with essentially ham, egg & chips!

On reflection, we thought the best bit of the tour was Ronda, which was good as that was our main reason for coming.
