Steamroller

Walking out tonight to find a restaurant we wandered through one of the many parks in Funchal. A beautiful evening with the sun shining on the lake, fountains spraying a misty flume up into the air, ducks and swans in little family groups.
Randomly near the children’s play are were two ancient steam engined vehicles, both looking rusty and neglected, this one seemed quite a fitting tribute to the performance of England today in the World Cup where they steam rollered their way past Panama - (although I think the 6-1 scoreline said more about Panama’s performance than England’s)
