Hunter and her prey

This tableau lasted long enough for me to go inside, find the camera, return an d take the photo and still it went on. Ruadh moving slowly, almost imperceptibly, forwards and the lizard visible by the plant keeping a watchful eye on things. Needless to say no lizards were harmed during or after this photo.
We set off for our walk to find we had a puncture and so had to ring around garages to see if they had a replacement tyre - that is if they were open it being Saturday afternoon.
In the end one in Aubenas came up trumps and so we inflated the tyre and set off checking it pretty regularly. It had hardly gone down by the time we arrived but a hole was found and a repair effected. A lot less tedious that it migrt have been.
