EMPEROR

I chose a walk in the sun over the footer this afternoon and was rewarded with this. He's a bit of a battle-scarred warrior, with those tattered wings.

This morning we picked up a new (secondhand) car which we hope will last us for a while and be comfortable on longer journeys. After three automatics we've gone back to a manual gearbox, and I've noticed that there's a (silent) indicator to tell me when I can change up or down. B should be delighted that he no longer needs to perform that service at every opportunity (which was one of the reasons we changed to automatic in the first place). ;-)
