Even checking the tyre pressures…
…can be turned into a special moment! M and I have a long journey to the Midlands and back tomorrow, so having washed the car yesterday we went out to check the car’s tyre pressures at the garage in Sheringham this morning. As it was a gorgeous warm, sunny morning, we parked in the town and decided to walk to the sea front. As we had to pass Ronaldo’s Ice Cream shop on the way to the promenade it seemed impolite not to pop in. Their ice creams are made from local ingredients and fresh cream and are free of non-natural ingredients and are truly delicious. I tried an apple and blackberry crumble one and M tried the red gooseberry flavour.
There was a slightly chilly wind coming off the sea, but the promenade wall is quite high and the stone surface warms in the sun, so perfect to lean against for warmth whilst surveying the waves rolling up the beach...a happy moment indeed.
The blip is the window of the vintage shop that caught my eye on the way back.
PS: I’ve also added a back-blip for yesterday.
