Just playing

Our neighbour loves his old tractor. He spends hours working on it and then occasionally he tries it out. Today he was cutting the grass in the little field that runs by our garden. He was having a great time, but I couldn't really see why he was doing this, as there is currently a cow with a calf (see extra), who have been eating their way through the grass for many weeks now. There really wasn't much left to cut and he was making no attempt to gather the cut grass anyway. I think he was just playing.

The cow and calf sat by and watched him, a little bemused. Then as soon as he was gone, they got up and made for the only corner where he hadn't been able to get to and there was still long grass.
