Pals

Backblip


Visited a lovely old town called Pals today, which had beautiful houses and walls and arches everywhere and a great round tower at the top of the hill which gave stunning views over the Catalan countryside.  A few more in Extras. We did the touristy thing and took a mini train ride round the town, but it also took us out into the surrounding countryside to visit a rice mill.  We didn't even know they grew rice in Spain, though it makes sense when you think of paella:-)  

Also went to have a look at Tamariu, which is where I'd originally booked to go and we liked the beach, but the town was quite busy, so much prefer it where we ended up:-)  Shot of the beach in Extras and difficult to take a photo without a topless lady or two, so hope I missed them this time!
