Backblip
It was very pleasant watching the endangered Western painted turtles sunning themselves and swimming among the waterlilies on Dutch Lake at Clearwater after we had visited many spectacular waterfalls including the Helmcken Falls which are the fourth highest in Canada at 141 m high and 23m wide. (Extra) Although it was the warmest day of the holiday, unfortunately the alpine meadows were still covered in snow which meant we had to cancel our plan to see the flowers and traces of snow are just visible above the falls.
